Abstract

Abstract: Intellectual tradition that has been built in the classical period at the time of the Prophet has been
so decisive form of Islamic thought. Clerics occupy a very important place in the life of the Muslims. Social
status in their classical has roles and functions. In a sociological perspective, clerics place themselves as part of
the struggle for Da'wah Islamiah, as moral control and social control of the authorities, and as a driver.
