Abstract

This study focuses on exploring the development of spiritual intelligence implemented at SMP Ibnu Cholil Bangkalan. Using a qualitative approach, the qualitative research method in this study is based on post-positivist philosophy and applied to investigate a naturalistic subject. The researcher acts as the primary instrument, and data collection is conducted through triangulation (a combination of methods). This study aims to describe and analyze the cultivation of spiritual intelligence through Islamic education at SMP Ibnu Cholil Bangkalan. The research findings indicate that in efforts to enhance spiritual intelligence at SMP Ibnu Cholil Bangkalan, teachers play a role as exemplary models. Firstly, teachers serve as models in adhering to school regulations. Secondly, they exemplify Islamic values. Thirdly, teachers model Islamic activities. Fourthly, they embody Islamic symbols. From a behaviorism perspective, changes in student behavior are attributed to the process of Islamic education in the classroom, which has an impact on their daily lives.
