PRILAKU NIKAH SIRRI MASYARAKAT KECAMATAN BANTARAN KAB. PROBOLINGGO DALAM PANDANGAN UU PERKAWINAN NOMOR 1 TAHUN 1974

Abstrak

Although marriage has been regulated in the Marriage Law and is regulated by state administration. However, there are some community groups, especially in the Bantaran sub-district, who still carry out traditional marriages and the beliefs of these communities are considered as inherited from their ancestors. Field research using a descriptive-analytical approach is the method in this research. The results of this study stated that the people of Kec. Bantaran doing unregistered marriages, due to several factors, including: religious, cultural, social, educational and economic factors and they still consider unregistered marriage is a common thing and allowed.
