Principals have a very important role in developing human resources in schools, especially teachers. Teachers are human resources who are considered to have a role in determining the success of educational goals. The success and achievement of educational goals depends on the human resources in educational institutions. If the teacher's human resources are qualified with the support of adequate resources, the quality of education will increase. The task of the principal is to manage how to make existing teacher human resources become qualified and competent to improve the quality of Islamic education institutions. Therefore, the principal must have the right strategy in improving the quality of teachers' human resources in Islamic education institutions. This study examines the literature on how the right strategy should be carried out by school principals in developing teacher human resources in Islamic educational institutions. The method in this research is library research, with literature analysis from books, scientific journals, and other relevant documents. The focus of the analysis is on teacher human resource development strategies, and the relevance of Islamic values in education.
